On Wednesday, January 24, the Prime Minister, Mr. K. Mitsotakis, visited the construction site of the new Heraklion International Airport of Crete, accompanied by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Mr. K. Karamanlis and the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Mr. G. Karagianni.

The Prime Minister was informed about the progress of the work and expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the project and emphasized that Crete will acquire a modern Airport which will be an important driver for the development of the region.
